Cranberry bean dip

Cranberry bean dip

Time: 40-60 minutes

Skill level: Easy

Ingredients

Equipment

  • Sauce pan
  • Food processor

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan, cover the beans by 1.5-2 inches of water with 1 Tbsp of salt and cook on medium heat until the beans are tender, about 30-50 minutes. Drain and let cool while preparing other ingredients.
  2. Add the drained beans, vinegar, ranch powder, and tahini to the carafe of your food processor. Pulse until the beans start to break down and the ingredients come together.
  3. Turn the processor on high and slowly drizzle in the olive oil, scraping down the sides when necessary. Keep the processor going for about 5 minutes to make sure the dip is as smooth as possible. When almost done, add the ice cubes one at a time and allow to process into the mixture. This makes the dip more fluffy for dipping. Taste for seasoning and adjust where needed.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and ranch powder for serving. Enjoy with tortilla chips!
